01Background

An IT Trainer and Assessor across multiple RTOs, marking and validating real student work.

Anil Adhikari spent years inside Australian RTOs as an IT Trainer and Assessor, delivering VET courses, writing assessment tools, and marking and validating student work across multiple registered training providers. He did not read about the assessment and compliance workload in a market report. He carried it.

That experience spans several RTOs, including Milcom Institute, Queensford College (RTO 31736), and Vibe College (RTO 31652). Across them, Anil designed practical, outcomes-focused VET curriculum, built assessment and validation processes, and supported audit readiness aligned to VET sector standards. He holds Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).

02The Shift

ASQA started asking a question most RTOs could not yet answer with evidence.

The same pattern showed up everywhere he worked. Trainers and assessors spent more time defending and documenting assessment decisions than making them. Validation was always overdue. Evidence was scattered. Good assessors were doing rigorous work with no clean way to prove it when an auditor came looking.

Then the sector shifted. ASQA auditors began asking a question that did not exist two years ago: walk me through how assessor judgement is preserved when AI is involved in marking. Most RTOs can answer it with intentions. Very few can answer it with evidence. And an auditor cannot audit good intentions. Anil wrote publicly about what a defensible answer looks like under Standard 1.4 of the Standards for RTOs 2025, and where most providers have a gap they have not noticed yet.

03The Standard
"An auditor cannot audit good intentions. Edunixo exists so RTOs can answer the hard question with evidence."
